We have lots of time. There’s no need to rush around. Do one thing at a time. Take it one day at a time, moment by moment, step by step. Wait patiently for the Lord to work His miracles. God’s timing is always perfect and impeccable. Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take. [Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT] Know that He cares for you and your request, and He will order your steps. Outcomes may not be what you expect, but they are still good.
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. [Psalm 139:13-14 NKJV]
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. [Psalm 139:13-14 NLT]
Who is this person you were made to be? Who is this person with a unique identity, destiny and purpose, with all the gifts and talents, strengths and weaknesses, created to do great things in Christ? [John 1:50 NLT, John 14:12 NLT] Discover this new person for yourself. Let Jesus introduce you to this new person. He makes all things new. [Revelation 21:5 NLT] He can give life to the dead and make new things out of nothing. [Romans 4:17 NLT] He will give you a new life and protect you. [Romans 5:18 NLT, Psalm 91 NLT] He will give you rest. [Psalm 23 NLT] All it takes is a belief in Jesus Christ, and a relationship with God in the Mighty Name of Jesus. [Romans 10:9 NLT] Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. He will receive you wherever you are at, with all the flaws and past mistakes. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. It’s not their fault. There is a mysterious force of darkness at work in all your past hurts. [Luke 8:12 NLT] Come as you are. Come into the light. Let the light dispel the darkness. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. [John 1:5 NLT]
All these are God’s promises, given to those who believe. Come today. It’s never too late. Today is the day of salvation. [2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT] He will give you a crown of beauty for ashes. [Isaiah 61:3 NLT]
