(a chapter from my book, Raising Kings)
Honor the LORD with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
We are given stewardship over our own personal resources. We want all to be well in our home front – at home. We have stewardship over our personal relationships. We have stewardship over our communities. We have stewardship over our business and workplace – resources and relationships. We have stewardship over the nation’s resources. We have stewardship over earth’s resources.
Let’s start at the home front. We want more than enough to cover personal and family expenses, and an overflow to give and share. And we want great personal relationships. I always encourage people to do Proverbs 3:9-10 quoted above. And do it out of a cheerful heart (quoted below). Be a regular giver. This should keep all the little foxes that eat away at your finances at bay. And not only will your finances prosper, you will discover surprising blessings around every corner. The provision of God just keeps coming, and it is not always just money. Everything just seems to work well in your life. You will have more than enough to fill your cup, and your cup will overflow with abundance.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
May the grace and peace of Abba Father the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
Thank You, Abba Father, Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
Word Sabre, scribe for Abba Father, LORD GOD, Lord Most High, Lord Jesus Christ.
