Free Will, Freedom and Stewardship

(a chapter from the section, Foundations, of my book, Heaven on Earth)

Every human being was created and blessed with a free will. Free will is a free gift from God. The best way I can describe a free will is a freedom of choice of what we can think, who we are, and what we can do. Everyday, as we live our lives, we make choices. As we have the freedom to choose in a universe of choices, wisdom helps us choose the right and the wise choices. Wisdom is both a gift and a skill. With good training, wisdom can become a man’s or a woman’s strength and best friend.

Wisdom is the fundamental currency of life. With wisdom, we exercise stewardship over the resources that we have been given in our lives. We are frequently rewarded for good wisdom and good stewardship. The rewards are wealth, prosperity and a good worry-free life.

On the flip side, from a lack of wisdom, we make bad choices. There are usually bad consequences for our bad choices.

Freedom means being free of physical and spiritual oppression. A lack of freedom stems from the existence of unjust – evil – humans and / or spiritual forces of darkness who may enslave, control and manipulate our freedom and our free will. But Jesus Christ sets us free from all of that because of the work He did on the cross. Thus, the one whom the Son sets free, is free indeed.

May the grace and peace of Abba Father the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Thank You, Abba Father, Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
