Greater Glory

(a chapter from the section, New Wine for New Wineskins, of my book, Heaven on Earth)

‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the LORD Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the LORD Almighty.”

Haggai 2:9 NIV

Glory is the presence of God. Glory can also be interpreted as the strength of God. We shall go from strength to strength … (Psalm 84:7 NKJV)

Greater glory comes from greater intimacy. It is not something we have to strive for. The greater glory is found in the place of rest. When glory of God is poured out over a nation, a nation becomes a Land of Plenty. The nation will experience abundance and not lack. The people will experience abundance and not lack. The nation will experience greater creativity. The communities, cities and nation will experience greater peace. Ruins will be rebuilt. The people will have great relationships. There will be safety in the land. The people will prosper. The people will experience ease and freedom in their lives. There will be greater healing breakthroughs in the land. There will be greater signs and wonders in the land. There will be greater fruitfulness in the land. The people will experience greater fruitfulness. The desert wilderness will become fertile plains and oasis. There will be springs and streams in the desert places. The droughts will be broken. The land will yield its fruit. There will be bountiful harvests. The people will give glory to God for His goodness. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, and His mercies endure forever.

May the grace and peace of Abba Father the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
