(a chapter from the section, New Wine for New Wineskins, of my book, Heaven on Earth)
We love because he first loved us.
The relationship between God and us starts from God’s love and results in our love for Him. First, God loves us. Then we love Him. If He did not love us first, we would be unable to love Him.
The love of God can make all the difference between our sense of contentment and fulfillment with our life than getting by without His love. His love is constant. He does not ebb and flow. His love is healing. He does not destroy. He creates new life, renews and regenerates. His love is the genuine thing, not a counterfeit.
I have experienced His love, and I am spoilt for anything else. I soak in Him daily. I am immersed in Him until all my cells are saturated and resonate in tune with His heartbeat. I am totally so in love with Him and He is my husband and my first love. I am bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh.
From this place of intimacy with God, He breathes miracles into Creation. I cultivate this intimacy preciously. I cultivate this relationship jealously as He is also jealous for me. Daily I walk deeper into His love. I need His love. Nothing in the whole universe can separate me from God’s love. He is my precious love. We have a robust and thriving relationship. It is all within His control. If it were within my control, I might drop the ball. Because this relationship is all within His control, it is stable, sustainable, growing, thriving, maturing, constant, consistent, uncompromising, exhilarating, exciting, and predictable.
May the grace and peace of Abba Father the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
