Conflict Resolution

(a chapter from my book, Raising Kings)

Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

Matthew 5:9 NIV

The road to peace runs through forgiveness. We cannot forgive one another, if we do not love our neighbor. Jesus preached a radical love message of loving our enemies. We need to get to the point where we are talking to each other about our differences. Then we can move forward into finding common ground and resolving fundamental issues.

Conflict arises when there is strife and chaos reigning in our hearts. Conflict arises when insecurities rears its ugly head. Conflict arises when we put personal agenda before God’s agenda. Grace and peace reigns when we have God’s love, inner peace and rest. We can be busy but if we have God’s love, inner peace and rest within us, we can have peace in the community and in the nation. Peacemakers are required to have clarity of sight to sort out the fundamental issues from the fluff. Peacemakers are required to have clarity of sight to see the bigger picture. Peacemakers are required to see God clearly and hear God’s voice. This is a frequent requirement because peacemakers affect many human lives for the better.

May the grace and peace of Abba Father the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Thank You, Abba Father, Lord Jesus Christ.
In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
