Build a Firm Foundation

(a chapter from my book, The Turning Point: Breaking Through)

[Isaiah 28:6 NLT, Luke 6:48 NLT]

Building a firm foundation takes deliberate time and effort. It takes commitment and sacrifice. It’ll cost you. But it is more than worth all your efforts. When you are ready, God can use you to do whatever He wants you to, keeping in mind that this will align with your gifts, talents, strengths, weaknesses, identity, destiny and purpose, which you may or may not have previously discovered. In fact, He is the one who is really doing all the heavy lifting. We are just junior partners in this equation but are still unique and essential. He uses our hands and feet to minister to the communities and nations.

It takes daily prayer, whatever that looks like for you.

The living Word needs to be working in us and through us. [Hebrews 13:20-21 NLT] This involves finding and believing God’s promises in the Good News, then obediently incorporating each Good News revelation into our daily lives. Always allowing God to lead in every aspect of our lives, sculpting and transforming us into beautiful masterpieces of His hands.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
Thank You, LORD GOD, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
