The Preparation Seasons

(a chapter from my book, The Turning Point: Breaking Through)

In these turbulent times, you must always prepare for significant life changes. Get change-ready. Change will come whether you like it or not. So it’s better to be prepared than not.

Prepare for a smooth transition. Though change is often unexpected, it can be softer if prepared. Ask the Lord for guidance in your individual circumstances.

You will also be equipped and prepared for your future tasks and assignments in your preparation seasons. The bigger the tasks ahead, the deeper your preparation will be.

Build a strong foundation now while you can. Build a firm foundation so that we may go the distance and outlast our challenges. [Luke 6:48 NLT] Jesus Christ is that firm foundation. He is the Word made flesh, the Bible in human form. [John 1:14 NKJV, John 1:14 NLT] He is forever unchanging; He is the same yesterday, today and forever. [Hebrews 13:8 NLT] Find your stability in Him. Be centred in Christ. Find your peace in Christ; He is the Prince of Peace. We are more than conquerors through Him, who love us. [Romans 8:37 NIV] Overwhelming victory is ours through Christ. [Romans 8:37 NLT]

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and all your plans will succeed. [Psalm 37:5 NLT, Proverbs 16:3 NLT]

When the Earth quakes and its people live in turmoil, He is the one who keeps its foundations firm. [Psalm 75:3 NLT] Take comfort in this thought.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper. [Isaiah 54:17 NKJV]

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen.
Thank You, LORD GOD, in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
